THE MULTI-LEVEL GRIP TRAINING PROGRAM

To build and strengthen grip production competencies, Set & Stage developed its own Multi-level Grip Training Program and established its training center. Industry-grade broadcast equipment are provided by its sister-company, Network Rentals.

A team of technical and academic experts with years of experience in media production, including advanced training with foreign institutions, and education develop the training program, deliver the training modules, and certify competencies.

The Multi-level Grip Training Program has three levels:

Level 1A: Grip Work for Remote Productions

Level 1B: Grip Work for Studio and Live Event Productions

Level 2A: Specialized Equipment Training – Remote Productions

Level 2B: Special Equipment Training – Studio and Live Event Productions
Level 3A: Team Management
Level 3B: Advanced Production
Training performance is measured via practical exercises, written exams and on-the-job activities.

While the program is highly-technical, focusing on production skills, attitudinal formation is embedded throughout the training program through instruction and exercises that highlight professionalism, positive work ethic, team work, the value of strategic communication, mindfulness for safety, and stewardship.
